A pre-recruitment training for candidates to prepare them for upcoming recruitment rallies for Assam Rifles and Indian Army organised by Tamenglong Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Jwalamukhi Sector Assam Rifles concluded in Tamenglong.
The training camp commenced with documents and medical inspection in which a total of 47 individuals were found eligible and attended the training camp, which included physical training and academics.
In his address during the closing ceremony, commandant, Tamenglong Battalion applauded the high spirit, inquisitiveness and energy of the trainees who came from far flung corners of Tamenglong district to be part of this camp.
Meritorious prizes were awarded by the commandant to outstanding performers. All candidates were also awarded a certificate of participation on successful completion of the training.
Tamenglong Battalion under the aegis of Jwalamukhi Sector Assam Rifles also organised a Security Coordination Meeting at its Azuram post. The event was attended by chairmen, secretaries and other authorities from nearby villages of the area.
