MLA of Patsoi assembly constituency Sapam Kunjakeswor alias Keba on Friday promised to convert the Ramji Kabui Khul, Sagolband in Imphal West into a model village within four months.
Ramji Kabui Khul is one of the three villages under Patsoi assembly constituency, and it is settled by Scheduled Tribe, Keba, he said. He further promised to convert the remaining two ST villages, namely Changangei Kabui Khul and Sangaiprou Kabui Khul into model villages soon.
Keba was delivering his speech at his reception programme by the villagers or Ramji Kabui Khul at the village. Asserting that developmental works cannot be taken up successfully without the support and locals participation, he sought the cooperation of the public in taking up developmental works.
