Public meeting for drug eradication held in Thoubal district

The Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) the public meeting was held as part of the association’s campaign for the eradication of drug abuse in the state.

Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) on Thursday organised a public meeting on ‘Nishana Khunnaida Piba Cheitheng Amasung Masibu Thingbada Meeyam gi Thoudang’ at Peace Institute for Alcoholic and Drugs De-addiction at Khangabok in Thoubal district.

In a release, CADA stated that it has organised the public meeting on ‘Nishana Khunnaida Piba Cheitheng Amasung Masibu Thingbada Meeyam gi Thoudang’ (Effects of Drugs in the Society and the Role of Public in Stopping It) as part of the association’s campaign for the eradication of drug abuse in the state.

The event was attended by Peace Institute for Alcoholic and Drugs De-addiction project in-charge Sorokhaibam Honda, Peace Institute for Alcoholic and Drugs De-addiction staffs Ronel Thangjam and Khaidem Roshan, CADA Imphal East District Committee vice president Seram (O) Tamna, and CADA president Hijam Priyokumar as the presidium members, along with CADA vice president Ningthoujam Doren as the resource person.
