Protest against Lok Sabha election continues in Manipur

Mayang Imphal Apunba Meira Paibis and Yumnam Huidrom Apunba Meira Paibis on Tuesday took a firm stand that they will not take part in the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha Election.

People in Manipur are continuing their stand against the upcoming Lok Sabha election asserting that they will only take part in the election only after the ongoing violence in the state has concluded.

Mayang Imphal Apunba Meira Paibis and Yumnam Huidrom Apunba Meira Paibis on Tuesday took a firm stand that they will not take part in the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha Election.

Mayang Imphal Meira Paibis alleged the Government of India for their hidden agenda in the ongoing violence of Manipur as the Kukis have stopped their attacks on the Meiteis, which they have been carrying out since the last 10 months in Manipur.

They also strongly condemned the government for focusing on the upcoming election instead of trying to find ways to stop the violence and to bring normalcy in the state. They also chanted various slogans and displayed various placards during the protest.
