Poor turnout on Hill Leaders Day-Meeyamgi Numit in Tamenglong

As many as 27 government departments opened their stalls to redress public grievances on Hill Leaders Day-Meeyamgi Numit in Tamenglong.

As fixed on every 3rd Friday of the month, the district administration Tamenglong organised Hill Leaders Day cum Meeyamgi Numit at Multiple Purpose Hall, Appollo Lower ground on Friday. 

Despite the efforts made by the district administration, a poor turn-up from public was recorded again on Hill Leaders Day cum Meeyamgi Numit.

Some departments reportedly turned up late to open their stalls. As many as 27 government departments opened their stalls to redress public grievances. 

Deputy commissioner of Tamenglong Pawan Yadav, joined by all District Level Officers interacted with the people to ensure that their grievances were addressed adequately. 

The deputy commissioner along with the officials led by Thangboi Gangte ADM, Tamenglong ensured the smooth functioning of the event.

Vaccination programmes and health check-up counters were set up by the Health department. Grievances related to ILP card issues were also heard by DC and cards were issued for the six persons.
