Christian Heritage Institute Tamenglong was shifted to a permanent site at New Canaan, Ward No III, Tamenglong on Tuesday.
Earlier, the institution was functioning at a temporary site near Tamenglong bazaar. The 7-year-old institution has 520 students including ‘Cherups’ along with Class XI and XII students.
Azuram Agape Baptist Church pastor reverend Khanglen Riamei formally cut the ribbon and dedicated the new school building which is under construction to the Almighty God.
A formal new campus cum new school building dedication programme was held at one class room.
Board members, prayer warriors, school principals, pastors, leaders of New Canaan Ward No III, Tamenglong attended the new school building dedication programme.
On the occasion, Christian Heritage Institute Tamenglong board director Damchuilung Kamei said that Tamenglong district is the best place to study. Tamenglong district headquarters is full of natural air and does not require air conditioning while many plants are also planted to make the surrounding area greener.
He thanked the land owner for giving space for moulding the future generations. He sought full support and cooperation from all.
