As part of the Patriots' Day observation, Presidency College, Motbung on Saturday organised a seminar on Modi@20 Dreams Meet Delivery at the college Jubilee Hall.
Apart from various other dignitaries and the college Principal T Gangte, BJP Manipur Pradesh Secretary, Paokam Haokip, who is also in charge of Sadar Hills, and BJP Sadar Hills President Thangjamang Kipgen also attended the function.
L Rameshwor Singh and N Premananda Singh spoke on the Patriots of Manipur and Modi@20 dreams, meet, and delivery on the occasion.
Prize for winners of the district-level open competition such debate, quiz, essay writing, extempore speech, and painting, which was held from July 15 to 30, were distributed during the event.
The open district-level competition was organised as part of the celebration of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in connection with the 75th Indian Independence Day and 131st Patriots' Day by the Presidency College Teachers' Association under the theme, "National Integration and Patriotism", which was participated by students from various institutions in the district.
The debate competition with the topic, "The failure of Manipur in the 1891 Anglo-Manipur War was due to disunity among the princes of Manipur" was won by Satgoulal Kilong of Presidency College with Kadingngambou Abonmai of the same college coming second while Damdei College students, Shinning Thiumai and Pamthing Kasar secured third and fourth position.

In the quiz competition, Presidency College students, SK Satgoulal Kilong and Satgunmang Haokip secured the first position, Damdei College students, Thethem Kipgen and Nengneivah Sitlhou secured the second position while Vahminchoi Lotzem and Nengneihoi Haokip of Presidency College came in the third position. The fourth position was also secured by students of Presidency College, Shinning Thiumai and Pamthimg Kasar.
In the essay competition, Presidency College students, Seiminlal Doungel and Lunneihao Chongloi secured first and second positions respectively while Damdei College student Nengneivah Sitlhou stood in the third position.
In the extempore speech competition, Presidency College students Anjali Chhetry, Babita Rijal and Smita Thapa secured the first, second and third positions respectively.

In a painting competition, Presidency College students, Lamginmang Tuboi and Rinshang Phelamai secured the first and second positions respectively while Damdei College student Nengneivah Sitlhou secured the third position.
The winners were awarded certificates and cash prizes.
The national flag was also hoisted by the College Principale under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign during the event.
