For the first time for the District Hospital, Churachandpur in Manipur, the OPD e-Hospital Scan and Share was inaugurated on Thursday at the OPD complex, ground floor by Additional DC Seiminthang Lenthang in the presence of CMO Dr T Vanlalkungi, MS Dr Tinglonlei Thangluai who were the chief guest, functional president and chief host respectively.
Delivering the keynote address, District Data Manager Seiboi Mate spoke on the way and means to use the e-Hospital Scan and Share .
Addressing the occasion, Additional DC Seiminthang Lenthang said that the new system will be immensely helpful for the health sector especially for the remote sub-divisions like Sangaikot, Thanlon and Sinzawl area where the new pplication will save their time. He also said that the District Administration congratulated them as e- Hospital Scan and Share was applied in major hospitals all over the country.
Through the new application, time consuming OPD tickets will be lessened where the beneficiary with a smartphone can download ABHA App from Google PlayStore, link their Aadhaar card to register and scan the bar code in the OPD waiting area to get their token numbers after which the ticket will be printed at the counter.
The e-Hospital Scan and Share was introduced by the Central government under its Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission with some of the advantage being that all sick people will get health benefit as the new application will provide 14 digit unique number where details of the patience will be recorded through digetal HealthCare ecosystem which will enable the patience to have an immediate check-up in the future, in any hospital, as his health records will be maintained.
