Two persons riding a scooter came into a collision with a truck, resulting in the death of one of them in Imphal West on Friday.

The incident occurred around 12.30 pm at Lamdeng Awang Leikai under Lamshang Police Station in Imphal West District when the scooter (Hero Destini-125) collided with a Tata Truck.
The deceased has been identified as one Charoibam Surchandra ,40, son of Ch Bimol from Lamdeng Makha Leikai. He died after being admitted to RIMS. The other person who came with is admitted to Rajmedicity.

Lamshang Police Station has registered a case in connection with the incident. The body has been handed over to the family members after carrying out a post mortem examination.
