An old bomb was found at Mantripukhri under Heingang Police Station in Imphal West on Thursday. 

It was found around 2.30 pm while digging near the homestead fencing of one Rajesh Gupta from Mercyland at Mantripukhri, sources said.

The bomb was picked up and disposed of by a team of State Bomb Detection and Disposal Squat (SBBDS) at the firing range of Mantripukhri at 5.15 pm, the sources added.
