It is reported that during the video call which he received a couple of times since November 2 via his Facebook page, the unidentified man asked him to be silent and not to speak using sign language.

“The miscreant repeatedly continued to call back even though I cut off the call and asked him to send a message instead. Now I have blocked the account,” said O Joy.

The veteran politician is however still unclear on the motive of the threat as he has been more of a political activist, raising the public issue on various platforms from time to time.

Following the repeated threat, Joy responded to the incident with composure, immediately reporting the threat to the chief secretary and DGP Manipur for legal action.
