The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Manipur state unit on Saturday appealed to all the communities to end violence and restore peace and harmony in the state on humanitarian grounds considering the difficulties faced by the people especially students.
An emergency meeting of the state executive council of NPF/MSU was held at its office in Imphal on Tuesday wherein discussions on the situation prevailing in Manipur were held, the NPF/MSU said in a release.
During the meeting, the House also unanimously took two resolutions appealing to all the people to shun violence, restore peace and harmony through negotiations and allow a safe passage along the National Highways for travellers or carrying essential commodities, it said.
