The campaign against ‘separate administration’ demand in the state gained momentum with public discourses on ‘No Separate Administration in Manipur’ being organised across the state on Thursday.
A public meeting on the same was held at Khumbong Keithel, Ibudhou Kourouhanba Laibung Moidangpok and Bamdiyar Ahallup Awang Leikai YDA Lampak, the All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO), which started the campaign, stated in a release.
Former AMUCO president Ito Tongbram, president Ph Nando Luwang, vice president K Helen, Advisor Y Mani Khuman, COHR chairman Phulindro Konsham, Irabot Foundation president Kh Gopen and many others were present during the discussion, it mentioned.
Attendees discussed various agendas, including stepping up relief and rehabilitation of the affected victims, stopping militarisation in Manipur, withdrawing SoO truce with Kuki militants immediately and flushing them out from Manipur among others, the AMUCO added.
