Vice president, Manipur BJP, Ch Chidananda on Saturday clarified that it is a baseless propaganda that is being spread on social media and digital media that there is an issue on leadership of BJP legislature among the 32 elected representatives.
Chidananda, in a video clip issued to media, said that in some social media platforms and digital media propagandas are spreading that formation of groupism has started among the 32 BJP elected representatives.
In the propaganda, names of state BJP president, A Sharda, former Speaker Y Khemchand; former Chief Minister, N Biren Singh; former works minister, Th Biswajit and union minister of state, RK Ranjan are included. It is unfortunate to spread such propaganda with baseless information, he added.
Chidananda said inside the party there are no such issues as the BJP elected representatives are still at their respective residence and some of them are engaged with some personal works. He appealed to the people not to believe such baseless propaganda as various activities are yet to be completed like the reception ceremony of the party national observers and election observers. After that the party high command will decide to whom the state BJP’s legislature leader will be appointed, he added.
He said, under the instruction of party high command, the party’s legislature leader will be announced by March 19
