National Identity Protection Council (NIPCO) has condoled the demise of Khungdrakpam Ema Yaimabi Devi, the first president of NIPCO.

In a release on Sunday, NIPCO said that Ema Yaimabi Devi passed away on June 7, 2023 due to an illness and was 84-year-old when she passed away.

It recalled that Ema Yaimabi stood for crime against women and also stood firmly to save the territorial integrity of Manipur. NIPCO members observed two-minute silence in honour of the deceased.
