A Ningol Chakouba feast for women traffic personnel was organised at the office of the Traffic Control Police Wing, MG Avenue on Saturday, by Superintendent of police, traffic control police, Imphal West (TCP/IW), Manipur, Wungpam Kasar.
Speaking on the occasion, Kasar said the chakouba was held as a token of respect and appreciation towards our sisters in Traffic police. On the occasion, the SP and officers of TCP/IW extended greetings to the women personnel and presented them with gifts.
Most of the women Traffic personnel missed the Ningol chakouba on October 27 as they were on duty the whole day to manage the usual heavy Ningol chakouba traffic.
Those who attended the event hailed the gesture of the SP and expressed that such events help to lessen the rigours of the uniform service.
