Nationwide campaign on legal awareness continues across Manipur

The awareness programme provided counselling on various schemes under NALSA (National Legal Services Authority) and as part of the Pro-Bono Registration programme for law students. A total of 110 law students registered themselves for Pro Bono.

As part of the nationwide campaign on “Empowerment of Citizens through Legal Awareness and Outreach”, District Legal Service Authority, Imphal West conducted a one-day legal awareness on various NALSA Schemes cum Special Pro-Bono Registration for law students.

The programme was conducted in the presence of District and Sessions Judge Cum chairman, DLSA, Imphal West, Aribam Guneshwar Sharma and Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal West cum Secretary, DLSA, IW, Janggoulen Haokip and attended by law students of Manipur and staff of DLSA, IW.

Recognition Certificates were presented to Print and Digital Media Persons for their selfless contribution towards DLSA, IW, and Certificates of Internship were presented to 31 law students for their outstanding completion of the special two-week Internship with DLSA, Imphal West.
