MSFTI to conduct screenplay writing workshop

The Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI) a 15-day Intensive Screenplay Writing Workshop in two phases.

The Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI), under the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur will conduct a 15-day workshop to impart the basic as well as profound knowledge and concept on various aspects of filmmaking to the youths of the state.

The Institute will organise the 15 Days Intensive Screenplay Writing Workshop in two phases. The first phase of the workshop will be held from May 5 to 11, 2024 and the second phase will be held from May 20 to 27, at MSFTI, Palace Gate, Imphal.

The workshop will be held under the course directorship of former HOD, Department of Direction and Screenplay Writing, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata professor Shyamal Sengupta.

Applications are available from Monday and the last date of submission of forms is on Saturday. The course will commence from May 5. Intending persons who are willing to join the course may contact MSFTI during office hours with effect from Monday for more details.

The workshop will be held at Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI), Palace Gate, Imphal.
