Ministers, MLAs in Delhi should not return without solution: Nongpal

All-political party meeting called on June 24 by Amit Shah.

Ministers and MLAs of Manipur, who are staying in Delhi in connection with the state crisis, should not return without an amicable solution, Nongpal Pana Apunba Lup (Nongpal), a body of 12 local clubs in Imphal East, has said.

Nongpal is an apex body of 12 clubs of Imphal East district and was formed for playing a leading role for all local clubs from Top-Khongnangmakhong to Kongpal Thong, convenor Laishram Vivekananda told mediapersons. The body will initiate steps to usher in peace in the sgtate, he added.

Nongpal appeals to the state government for the implementation of NRC and to the Indian Government to not impose President's Rule in Manipur, he said.

He also said that an amicable solution for bringing peace in the state should be the main topic during the all-political party meeting called on June 24 by Amit Shah.

Laishram also said that the ministers and MLAs from the state camping in Delhi should not return until and unless an amicable solution is brought forth for restoring peace in the state.
