The memorandum submitted contains a list of demands including abrogation of SoO agreement with the Kuki militants immediately.

A memorandum was submitted to IPR and Health Minister S Ranjan Singh by Nambol Bazar Women Vendor Association represented by women from different localities of the area. The memorandum was submitted to the minister at his residence at Konthoujam Awang Leikai on Tuesday.

A discussion meeting regarding the present situation in the state was also held with the women representatives. S Ranjan assured that the sentiments of the people will be respected and considered. He also appealed to them to remain calm and also invited them to provide suggestions for reaching solutions to the present scenario.

The memorandum submitted contains a list of demands such as to abrogate SoO agreement with the Kuki militants immediately, to convene special Assembly session and declare the stand of the government, to act promptly by taking firm decision as an MLA, to bring back peace and normalcy in the state, combing operation should be carried out firstly at the areas where the kuki militants are operating etc.
