Chef de mission of the Manipur’s contingent in the 37th National Games and secretary to governor of Manipur Bobby Waikhom on Monday presented a memento to Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey.

The memento was presented to the governor during an event held at Raj Bhawan as a mark of thanksgiving for her best wishes to the 560 State members including players who participated in the games held at Goa from October 25 till November 9, stated a release.

Manipur became the only state from Northeast India to find a place among the country’s top seven states in the National games medal tally by bagging altogether 82 medals, including 30 gold, 22 silver and 30 bronze, it mentioned.
