The Meitei Pangal community took out a torch rally from Litan Thong Makhong, Kshetri Bengoon to Porompat DC, Imphal East district on Wednesday night.

The rally was organised by Kshetri Bengoon Youth Club (KBYC), Imphal East in accordance with announcements made by Jamiat-ul-ma and AMMOCOC.
The rally was later joined by Meira paibis of Top Khongnangkhong, Kongpal and they marched up to Porompat DC.

They shouted slogans: “We want peace,” “Save Manipur’s Integrity,” “Manipur cannot be partitioned,” “Implement NRC in Manipur,” “Remove SoO”.
