NPYF president Laitonjam Jayananda asserted that the ultimate goal of the campaign was to help restore normalcy in Manipur and bring it back on the track towards progress and development.

He also said that Sangma would also meet with other top officials and discuss various issues regarding the ongoing crisis.

“All concerned stakeholders would be involved and the leaders of NPP and NPYF along with the party’s MLAs would voice the various resolutions and concerns derived in the conference to all concerned central leaders,” he said.

Pointing out the role of youths in bringing an end to the crisis, Jayananda lamented that the issue had been unnecessarily dragged out for nearly two months.
