Spreading the message of resilience and unity, Manipur Youth League’s (MAYOL) long march for national regeneration reached Malom in Imphal West on the 16th day.
Day 16 of the march kicked off from Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal and headed towards Wangoi Upokpi in Imphal West.
Large number of people accorded the volunteers a warm reception as they reached Wangoi Upokpi for the first public meeting.
IPSA vice president Khuraijam Athouba and editor of the Frontier Manipur Paojel Chaoba took part as the main speakers of the meeting.
After the meeting, the MAYOL volunteers continued towards Santipur, Waheng Khuman, Leimapokpam, Thiyam Langpok Lairenjam and Mekola.
The evening meeting of the day 16 march took place at Malom Tuliyaima Ibudhou Pakhangba Laibung.
Associate professor of Economics, Manipur University Chinglem Maisnam, Naharolgi Thoudang editor Khoirom Loyalakpa, Women and Child protection activist Narengbam Nonibala, retired professor W Nabakumar and MAYOL convenor Asem Prince took part as the main speakers of the meeting.
