With an objective of providing a safe, reliable, affordable and sustainable public transport service, the Manipur State Transport (MST) will be launching "CITY BUS SERVICE" and "STUDENTS BUS SERVICE" on October 9, 2023.
As per a public notification issued by Nivedita Lairenlakpam, Director (Transport), Manipur, the CITY BUS SERVICE Router will be as follows.
Imphal -Yairipok (starting point - GM Hall, Indira Park; destination point - Yairipok Bazar) with departure time at 07.30 am;
Imphal - Kakching (starting point - Waheng Leikai; destination point - Kakching Bazar) with departure time of 8.30 am;
Imphal – Sekmai (starting point – Nagamapal; destination point – Sekmai Bazar) with departure time of 8.30 pm;
Imphal – Bishnupur (starting point - Waheng Leikal; destination point - Bishnupur Bazar) with departure time of 8 am;
Imphal – Leishangthem (starting point - Waheng Lelkal; destination point – Leishangthem) with departure time of 7.30 am and
Imphal – Lamlai (starting point – Nagamapal; destination point - Lamlai Bazar) with departure time of 8 am.
As for the STUDENTS' BUS SERVICE, buses from Kakching Lamkhai, Moirang and Mayang Imphal will start at 7.30 am with destination point at Eastern Gate of Dhanamanjuri College while buses from Sekmai and Lamlai will start at 8 am with the same destination point at the above.
Public/Students are requested to avail the above Government Public Transport, the transport director said in the notice.
