Shiv Sena Balasaheb Banchi Manipur Pradesh has demanded the Central government to fulfil their demands on various developmental works, including introduction of other developments for the state’s welfare during the G20 summit.
Senior vice president (administration) of the party, M Tikendra Singh, on Saturday told media at its state party head office located at Babupara, Imphal West, that the party heartily welcomed the G20 summit to be conducted in the state on February 17 and 18.
He said with the coming of the submit in the state, the party demanded construction of a ring-road in the surroundings of Loktak Lake in order to make it a eco-friendly tourist spot; to pass ‘Maha Sadak’ in the state, that is, construction of highway starting from Kanyakumari towards South East Asian countries; introduction of MSME schemes for the state and to introduce a uniform land law in Manipur.
The summit is organised with an objective for development in macro-economic status and to bring an equal economic status, he added.
He further appealed to the people to support the summit and not to impose any sort of strike, bandh and others.
Meanwhile, general secretary (organisation) of the party, Maisnam Khogen, said any individual can enroll in the party by logging in the party’s website www.shivsenamanipurpradesh.com. In the official website the activities of the party will be updated regularly, he added.
