Security forces recovered one small arm with magazine, four tube launching IA, two Hand Grenade, six BP jackets from Langmeidong, Kakching district during search operations and area domination conducted in the fringe and vulnerable areas of hill and valley districts.
Police control room, Manipur police on Tuesday said that movement of 206 and 234 vehicles along NH-02 and NH-37 respectively with essential items has been ensured. Strict security measures are taken up in all vulnerable locations and a security convoy is provided in sensitive stretches in order to ensure free and safe movement of the vehicles, it added.
A total of 129 Nakas/Checkpoints were installed in different Districts of Manipur, both in the hill and the valley and Police detained 335 persons in connection with violations in different districts of the state.
