A security coordination meeting chaired by district election officer Senapati Mamoni Doley in connection with the 18th Lok Sabha election, Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency was held at DC Conference Hall, Senapati on Tuesday.
During the meeting, discussion on various matters regarding dispersal, receiving, movement of quick response team and striking team and all other law and order related matters were conducted for free, fair, and smooth conduct of election. The district election officer also further instructed the members present to do gender sensitisation who will be deployed at female manned polling stations.
The meeting was held in presence of SP Senapati, ADSPs, SDO/ SDMs, SIB and Commander of all the Central Paramilitary Forces deployed in Senapati.
Later, under the supervision of nodal officer for Training Management S Lunguiba Thangal, the sector officers of three assembly segments were trained on their duty and role on the polling day and also hands-on training on EVM and VVPAT together with the conduct of mock poll and filling up of various forms for smooth conduct of election at DC Conference Hall, Senapati.
