Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) on Thursday notified all the consumers of Western-1 and JNV feeders from Yurembam substation that there will be a planned shutdown on Friday and Saturday from 9 pm to 4 pm. 

A release by MSPDCL stated that the consumers of the Western-1 and JNV feeders from Yurembam substation will not get power supply on Friday and Saturday from 9 pm to 4 pm for utility shifting regarding ongoing road expansion at Awangkhunou.

The areas of the planned shutdown will include Yurembam, Awangkhunou, Konthoujam, Sagoltongba, Khumbong, Kamong, Awang Jiri, Keithelmanbi, Kheithelmanbi Assam Rifles etc, it mentioned. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted, it added.
