According to a release by Roykutty, office secretary, CPI Central Office, New Delhi, the delegation explained the present volatile situation in the state wherein D Raja assured them all support of the party for bringing back normalcy and peace in the state immediately.

Raja said that the ongoing turmoil in Manipur is a direct result of the policy of dividing the people pursued by the so-called ‘double engine’ government of the BJP.

A political solution to the crisis should be reached by taking all opinions and people into confidence and restoring normalcy and peace in Manipur. CPI appeals to all sections of the people of Manipur to maintain peace and tranquillity, the release stated.
