While former Manipur chief minister and state Congress party leader O Ibobi Singh has a total assets amounting to Rs 1,88,92,790.66, his son, O Surjakumar, sitting MLA of 35- Khangabok AC, has acquired assets valued Rs 2,01,68,248.36, as per the election affidavits filed to their respective returning officers in Thoubal district.

Former MLA O ongbi Landhoni, who is the spouse of Ibobi, has a total assets amounting to Rs 1,06,00,321.54 and Micky Hijam Okram, spouse of Surjakumar has a total assets of Rs 37,81,865.
Ibobi has movable assets amounting to Rs 90,78,610.66 and in the immovable assets category, he has a self-acquired asset amounting to Rs 96,64,180 and an inherited asset amounting to Rs 1,50,000. He has a total of Rs 1,72,350 as cash in hand and has a liability as dues of Rs 27,33,440.

The affidavit also mentioned that Ibobi has four pending criminal cases which include the multi-crore MDS scam case and he completed BA in 1972.
Surjakumar has movable assets amounting to Rs 39,16,378.36 and in the immovable assets category, he has a self-acquired asset amounting to Rs 1,62,51,870. He has a total of Rs 1,92,140 as cash in hand and also has a liability as loan from the bank of Rs 61,60,080.
Surjakumar also has one pending criminal case against him, as per the affidavit. He completed BA (Honours) in 2008, and his wife is a government doctor.
