In a video surfaced on social media, RNCM representatives met with the drivers who had been stranded along NH-37 after the indefinite economic blockade was imposed by the Kuki CSOs.

In the video, a member of RNCM said that the stranded goods trucks have started  running along the NH-37. He also appealed not to hike the price of essential commodities by taking advantage of indefinite blockade.

RNCM had also cautioned earlier in a statement that it would not tolerate unwanted activities within the jurisdiction of the Rongmei community along the national highways. Stating that the Rongmei community is peace-loving, it further appealed to all concerned to refrain from any acts of war, arson, or vandalism among communities within their jurisdiction.

As per sources, the stranded oil tankers might start coming for Imphal from Saturday.
