The Manipur Hawkers’ Association on Wednesday extended condolences on the sudden demise of its member Naorem Mahendra Singh who passed away on Monday.

Ever since the printing press was founded in Manipur, late Naorem Mahendra Singh, who resided in Patsoi Part I, had been involved in the distribution of newspapers to the public and also served as a guide to all as a member of the Manipur Hawkers’ Association, stated a release.

His demise will definitely leave a void that can never be filled again, it mentioned. In prayers for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace at the abode of the almighty God, members of the association observed a 2-minute silence, and further shared the loss of the bereaved family, it added.
