The Manipur government on Thursday has ordered transfer and posting of IPS/MPS officers in the state with immediate effect and until further orders.
An order issued by the governor stated that Nishit Kumar Ujiwal presently on return from central deputation has been posted as IGP (Zone-iii), IGP(Zone iii) Lunsieh Kipgen as IGP (Prison) and IGP(Zone –i) and IGP (Zone-ii) in addition K Jayanta Singh as IGP (Zone ii).
As per the order, IGP ( Trg, HR and RTI) special secretary to the governor of Manipur in addition H Thanghaulien Gangte has been posted as IGP (cyber crime).
The order stated that DIG (Range i) and in-charge director (fire service), Themthing Ngashangva has been posted as IGP(zone-i) and incharge director (fire service) in addition with effect from January 1 2022.
DIGP (CID) crime branch Mamata Wahengbam has been posted as IGP (Trg, HR and RTI) with effect from January 2022, DIG (AP-ii) Achin Haokip as IGP (AP-ii) with effect from January 2022 and DIGP( Range ii) Kabib K aw DIGP (Range i) and DIGP (Range ii), it added.
The order added that DIGP (range iv) Kamei Angam has been posted as DIGP (range iii) and DIG (range iv), DIGP (range iii) L. Mangkhogin Haokip as deputy director Manipur Police Training Complex and P. Goulungmuon Singsit (under order of transfer as commanding officer 2nd IRB).
Mohurle Sandip Gopaldas who has been posted on compulsory has been posted as commanding officer 7 MR and superintendent of police CID crime branch Joyce Lalremawi has been posted as additional director (AD) MPTC(to take charge on retirement of M. Rajen Singh on December 31, 2021.
