All Meitei Medicos Union (AMMU) on Sunday organised one-day free medical camp at Yairipok Yambem High School and surrounding localities, with support from Association of Meiteis in the America, All Assam Manipuri Doctor Association, MITSNA, Bless diagnostics and senior Meitei doctors.

According to a release, the camp was held for the eighth time. A team of 27 doctors comprising of medicine, surgery, paediatrics, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology along with nurses checked over 300 individuals and also distributed free medicines to them, it mentioned.
The union thanked all the donors and volunteers for their assistance and further assured to conduct such camps in various conflict-affected areas of the state, it added.
