The district election officer, Imphal West requested all the recognised political parties/ intending candidates functioning in Imphal West District to depute one representative each duly authorised in writing by the state/district president of the party for attending the first Randomization of EVMs and SPATS on October 24.
A notice by the district election office, Imphal West N. Praveen Singh on Tuesday notified that the first randomisation of EVMs and VVPATs will be done using EVM Management System (EMS) for use in the bye election to Manipur Legislative Assembly from 22 Wangoi assembly constituency on October 24 at 11 in the morning at Room No F-21 (FLC Hall), 1 Floor of DC Office Complex. The district election officer also notified that the first randomisation of EVMs and VVPATs shall proceed as per the schedule even in the event of absence of any political party their representative/candidate/authorized person.
