A voter turnout of 58.91 per cent was recorded till 3 pm Tuesday in the second phase repoll of the Manipur elections 2022.
According to the report of CEO Manipur, only 0.76 per cent turned up at Yankhullen (A) polling station (PS) and 52.75 per cent at Mao Marafii PS of Tadubi AC, Senapati district till 11 am.
Till 1 pm, a total of 60.95 per cent voters were turned up at Ngamju PS of Karong AC, 63.13 per cent at Peh (B) PS and 58.30 per cent at Kalhang PS of Chingai AC, 38.51 per cent at Ukhrul (E-2) of Ukhrul AC.
In Wangjing Hodamba PS of Wangjing-Tentha AC, 58.91 per cent of voters turned up till 3pm, as per CEO report.
The repoll started at 7 am in seven polling stations across five constituencies in three districts - Ukhrul, Senapati and Thoubal amid heightend security arrangements.
In Ukhrul district, repoll is being held in three constituencies. In 44-Ukhrul (ST) and 45-Chingai (ST) constituencies under Ukhrul district, repoll is being held at polling stations - 44/45 Ukhrul (E-2); 45/25-Kakhang; 45/31-Peh (B).
In Senapati district, repoll is underway in three constituencies - in 47-Karong (ST), and 49-Tadubi (ST), the polling stations where repoll is being held are 47/49-Ngamju; 49/4-Yangkhullen (A) and 49/51- Mao Marafi.
In Thoubal district, repoll is being held in one constituency, Wangjing Tentha assembly constituency, at polling station 34/9 Wangjing Hodamba.
