Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh to attend CM conclave

The CM’s Conclave will start after the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, as per reports.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Chandigarh with chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of respective states ruled by the BJP and NDA partners on Thursday.

Such a meeting is being held for the first time in several years, as per reports. Manipur Chief Minister N Bire Singh, who will be attending the conclave, reportedly left Imphal on flight a day ahead of the event which will be held in Chandigarh.

As per the schedule, the event will be held at Hotel Lalit where all the delegates will assemble for a lunch and the proceedings shall begin at 3 pm.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telegu Desam Party leader Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister and Lok Jan shakti Party leader Chirag Paswan, Rajiv Ranjan aka Lalan Singh of the Janata Dal United, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma of the National People’s Party are among the allies who will be attending this meeting.

As per reports, all of BJP 13 CMs and 16 deputy CMs are among those attending. BJP president J P Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah will also be present.

The event will also deliberate on the observance of the year 2025 as ‘Year of Rejuvenation of Democracy to mark the completion of 50 years of Emergency’.

The schedule also mentions a resolution on the Sesquitennial Year of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and the Sesquitennial Year of Sardar Vallab Bhai Patel.

It further mentioned a resolution on the Birth Centenary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The schedule also mentions a discussion on Collective coordinated functioning of the NDA, and Collective functioning of NDA ruled states to achieve the goal of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.

It may be mentioned that 13 CMs and 16 deputy CMs belong to the BJP whereas Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Nagaland and Meghalaya are ruled by the NDA partners of the BJP.
