Manipur Chief Minister N Biren offers prayers at Shri Shri Govindaji Temple in Imphal ahead of poll 2022 results

"Let us march towards a peaceful, prosperous and developed Manipur, together with BJP," Biren said as counting of votes was underway in Manipur.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Thursday offered prayers at Shri Shri Govindaji Temple in Imphal, accompanied senior BJP leaders, including Sambit Patra, as counting of votes began amid high tension and heightened security arrangements in the state.

"Offered my prayers at Shri Shri Govindaji Temple along with Shri @sambitswaraj  Ji to seek the blessings of Lord Govindaji for the grand result that awaits us today. Let us march towards a peaceful, prosperous and developed Manipur, together with BJP," Biren tweeted along with photos.

Counting of votes of the 60-member state Assembly election 2022 is underway at 41 counting halls in 12 ballot counting centres across the state on Thursday. The state Assembly election 2022 was held in two phases on February 28 and March 5, and repoll was conducted on March 5 and 8.
