Zeme Students Organisation Manipur (ZSOM) on Saturday organised a career guidance programme cum felicitation programme under the theme, ‘Seal your path to success’.
The programme was held at Zeme Ruangdiki, Tamenglong district headquarters.
Lecturer at Eklavya Model Residential School, Tamenglong Samyi Newme and teacher at Trinity Public School Tamenglong Pourang Newme attended the event as resource persons. The resource persons talked about a range of career opportunities in three subject streams and competitive examination opportunities.
Around 90 students from classes 9 to above took part in the said programme and altogether, 17 students were felicitated for their meritorious achievement in the recently declared class 10 and 12 examinations conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).
The programme was also attended by Zeme Naga Council Manipur president Apung Daime, Zeme Naga Baptist Church pastor reverend Namreikeu Pame as presidium members.

The Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT), Imphal Branch on Saturday organised a career guidance cum felicitation programme for meritorious students of the recently declared Class XII exam results from various councils at the Anal Baptist Church, Imphal.
Attended by a good number of Anal students residing in Imphal, the event was graced by Pampak Khumukcham, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Clinical Psychology, RIMS; Arnold Laishram, Senior Career Counsellor, Lambi Career Solutions, Imphal and Dinesh Athokpam, Senior Career Counsellor, Royal Global University, Guwahati, as resource persons.
The resource persons spoke on various topics such as choosing a career, how to prepare for various exams, how to deal with stress and depression, time management and about the road ahead in life. While congratulating the students, they also encouraged them to move ahead in life with an aim, a zeal and determination.
Later, all the Anal students residing in Imphal and who secured over 70 per cent in the recently declared Class XII results for the exams conducted by CoHSEM, CBSE and the likes were felicitated with a certificate each.
Organised by the ALT, Imphal (Anal Naga Students’ Union), the programme aimed at encouraging those successful candidates and guiding them in choosing a career for themselves.
