A joint operation conducted by the Indian Army and Manipur Police seized a cache of arms and ammunition in the fringe areas of Kangpokpi and Bishnupur districts on Monday.

The seized items are one 9 mm Carbine, one 9 mm pistol, five grenades, ammunition and warlike stores.
The seized arms and ammunition have been handed over to the Manipur Police for further investigation and necessary action.
