The All Manipur Newspaper and Electronic Media Employees Association (AMNEMEA) on Monday provided financial assistance to Heisnam Jelly Singh from Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai.

AMNEMEA, in a release said that Jelly, who is a press machineman of a local daily, is currently undergoing treatment at Asian Hospital, Kwakeithel. He is an E group member of the association, it stated.

The activity was carried out for the 52nd time and 4th for this year in continuation of the assistance provided to the members of the association in times of crisis and illnesses, it noted.

The team led by AMNEMEA vice president, Huidrom Romen including 3rd council secretary, Gogo Meitram and 2nd council secretary, Laishram Ambari handed over the money donated by its members, it mentioned.

It further stated that the association has been providing necessary assistance to all its members in time of need and will continue to do so.
