Manipur: 69 Bn CRPF distributes solar lamps to villagers

The civic action programme was a part of the continuous efforts to reach the local populace with the aim to establish better relationships with the CRPF and the public, CRPF said.

Solar lamps were distributed to needy villagers of Mantripukhri, Imphal by the 69 Bn CRPF as a part of its civic action programme on Friday at YCCIC Hockey Ground, Mantripukhri, Imphal.

The civic action programme was a part of the continuous efforts to reach the local populace with the aim to establish better relationships with the CRPF and the public, CRPF said in a release.

The release mentioned that, second-in-command of 69 Bn CRPF Ujjal Dutta during the function conveyed that CRPF is a true friend and a peacekeeper of the nation and will always be at its service whenever required.

Dutta also stated that CRPF would continue to serve the people of Manipur for their growth, development and prosperity and also assured of organising such civic action programme in the future, it added.
