A man, who was injured after being hit by an autorickshaw around 7 pm on Thursday at Chingmeirong in Imphal West succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.

An autorickshaw bearing registration No MN06SF/0045 hit the man who was coming in a bicycle near the traffic island of Khongnang Ani karak, police said
The deceased has been identified as one Thounaojam Inaobi, 54, from Lairikyengbam Makha Leikai. He died around 1 pm at Raj Medicity.

In connection with the incident, Imphal police station has registered a case and the body has been handed over to family members after conducting a post mortem.
