Mahila Kavya Manch, Manipur Branch held its inaugural function on Sunday at the residence of one Khomdram Dorendra Singh at Kwakeithel Moirangpurel Leikai besides a poetry recital.

Retired IAS Kangjam Radhakumar, Mahila Kvya Manch, Manipur President Kshetrimayum Subadani and Manipur State Social Welfare Board Former Chairperson RK Nayansana Devi attended the event as presidium members.
Mahila Kavya Manch, Manipur Branch Secretary Rajeshwari Yengkhom gave the opening speech and Scholar L. Memo spoke on why the organisation has been formed.

A poetry recital led by Chongtham (O) Subadani Devi was also held wherein around 30 male and female poets participated.
