Lok Sabha Election 2024: General observer visits Senapati

The general observer took stock of the poll preparation for Lok Sabha 2024 election in the district and visited three polling stations at Katomei, Taphou Pudunamei and Taphou Naga.

General observer of II-Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency Ujjwal Kumar visited Senapati district on Wednesday in connection with the ensuing General Election to Lok Sabha 2024.

The general observer took stock of the poll preparation for Lok Sabha 2024 election in the district and visited three polling stations at Katomei, Taphou Pudunamei and Taphou Naga.

At the Mini Secretariat Complex, the observer conducted on the spot inspection of the strong rooms. Later, he also visited the ongoing second round of training for polling personnel at Multi- Purpose Hall opposite to Mini Secretariat, Senapati and instructed the trainee to learn thoroughly and get familiarise with the EVM and VVPAT so that no mistake will be faced on the polling day.

He also asked the trainees to take utmost care in handling voting equipment for smooth conduct of the voting process.

During his visit, he was accompanied by DEO/DC, Senapati Mamoni Doley, SP Senapati Anupam and ARO’s.
