Lok Sabha Election 2024: Dispersal of polling parties scheduled

Office of the District Election Officer, DC Thoubal on Friday notified that the dispersal of polling parties and concerned security personnel for the poll will take place on April 18.

Office of the District Election Officer, DC Thoubal on Friday notified that the dispersal of polling parties and concerned security personnel for the poll will take place on April 18.

District election officer, Thoubal A Subhash Singh notified that the dispersal of polling parties and security personnel will begin from 9 am onwards.

The notice also included the detailed schedule for the dispersal of polling parties and security personnel in respect of 6 Assembly Constituencies/Assembly segments of Thoubal district.

The six assembly constituencies are 32-Wangkhem AC, 35-Khangabok AC, 31-Thoubal AC, 33-Heirok AC, 34-Wangjing Tentha AC and 30-Lilong AC. It further directed all Polling Parties, polling security personnel and all concerned to assemble at their concerned Dispersal Centre by 8.30 am on the said date without fail.

Vehicle owners advised to report

All Government/Private vehicle(s) owners requisitioned for utilisation by district election officer, Kakching district in connection with the ensuing General Elections to Lok Sabha, 2024 have been informed for compulsory reporting of their vehicles along with Drivers/Handyman for deployment at Public Ground, Opposite to Superintendent of Police office, Thoubal by 12 noon of April 17 for transportation of Polling personnel.
