Following the Bank Branch Deputy Manager's complaint lodged at Kangpokpi Police Station, a case was registered at the police station and an investigation has been initiated, as per police sources.

A complaint lodged to the Officer-in-Charge of Kangpokpi Police Station by the Deputy Manager of the MSCB Kangpokpi Branch, Ngaoni Dovei said that the bank was closed since May 4 because of the prevailing situation in the state.

It is worth mentioning that the Manipur State Cooperative Bank Kangpokpi Branch had a history of money swindling by its own staff earlier in the past.

In connection with the theft case in the MSCB Kangpokpi Branch, members of the Kangpokpi Town Committee, Kangpokpi Youth Union, and the Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization had a spot inspection on Thursday afternoon and met with the Officer-in-Charge of the Kangpokpi Police Station.
