LMG extends financial aid to ailing singer Suren Yumnam

Singer Suren Yumnam has been undergoing treatment at RIMS Hospital. He will be leaving Imphal for Delhi on Wednesday for further treatment, as per sources.

Like Minded Group (LMG), Manipur on Tuesday extended a financial aid of Rs 20,000 to ailing singer Suren Yumnam for his treatment.

The cash was handed over by a team lead by LMG president L Kunjeshwar Sharma; its secretary Sorokhaibam Ojit, publicity secretary Rakesh Naorem and members of the group, namely Boinao Maibam, Konsam Shitaljit, Sobita Maibam, Mangsatabam Kunjeshwar, Surendra Ningomba, Eteen Maibam and Inaoba Nongmaithem, stated a release.

At the occasion, Rakesh Naorem expressed that this was the 52nd time the group has extended financial aid to someone in need. He further raised the need to extend more help to the wider and poor sections.    
He also shared his happiness and gratitude that the ailing singer is receiving such assistance from the people and other sections.
