District Legal Services Authority, Chandel, under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority organised a one-day legal awareness programme on “ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) -Focussing on the issues of matrimonial/family disputes in the district” and “Sensitisation on Tele Law Legal Services” as a part of Integrated Delivery of Legal Services (IDLS-DISHA Schemes) at Leipung Tampak, Chandel District.
Jacky Lucy, Retainer Lawyer, District Legal Services Authority, Chandel and JS Chamdil Anal, Panel Advocate, were the resource persons of the said programme. JS Chamdil Anal briefed on the Tele Law Legal Services and further explained how to avail the scheme to the participants.
On the other hand, Jacky Lucy, Retainer Lawyer, District Legal Services Authority, Chandel introduced and highlighted the ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) to the participants. She talked about the benefits of the ADR system to the beneficiaries and further encouraged the participants to adopt the system.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from Tangreiwon Ngaleknao, Para Legal Volunteer, DLSA, Chandel.
